Blood cancer is the second highest cause of cancer-related death in Australia, claiming more lives than breast cancer (3,138) and melanoma (1,315) combined.
Today, more than 110,000 Australians are living with the devastating impact of blood cancer. This is predicted to nearly double by 2035*.

The Leukaemia Foundation offers expert support, funds leading-edge research and campaigns to make change for people with any type of blood cancer, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Many Australians require immediate treatment after a blood cancer diagnosis, and for regional families – this means uprooting their lives and moving away from home to survive.
The Leukaemia Foundation provides free accommodation for these regional families. This means they can access the treatment they need to survive and live well.
